The company's executive board is responsible for the equal pay policy, and the CEO is responsible for implementing the company's equal pay policy as well as monitoring the equal pay system on behalf of the company's board of directors.

Equality PlanStrategy 2023-2025
This equality plan covers the Strategy and stipulates goals and actions to ensure employees have the rights stipulated by the Equality Act.
Stefna is a desirable workplace where equality and gender equality are respected and everyone has equal opportunities to develop their talents regardless of non-material factors such as gender, age, sexual orientation, race and religion.
Stefna's equality plan has been approved by the board and will be reviewed every three years. Work is underway to establish equal pay according to Article 8 of the Equality Act.
Goals and projects
The equality plan aims to ensure that Stefna continues to be a good and desirable workplace where active equality work is ensured. The goal of the plan is to fulfill the company's obligations under the Act on Equal Status and Equal Rights of the Genders No. 150/2020.
Stefna's management and staff have a shared responsibility to maintain equality and equal opportunities for all employees in all aspects within the company.
The company's equality plan and related action plan shall be reviewed at least every three years, and the next review shall be completed by the end of December 2025. The CEO is responsible for the plan.
The equality plan shall be presented to all employees and be accessible on the company's website.
Equal opportunities
The company's employees, women, men and individuals of other genders, shall be paid equal wages and enjoy the same benefits for the same or equally valuable work. Equal wages mean that wages shall be determined in the same way for people regardless of gender. The criteria on which wage determinations are based shall not include gender discrimination.
Employees shall always be allowed to disclose their pay if they choose to do so. Stefna has established an equal pay policy and is committed to following the policy. Equal pay analyses will be conducted once a year, where salaries are gender-disaggregated, and unjustified pay differences will be addressed.
The company is constantly working to eliminate unexplained gender pay gaps if they exist and sets goals for how to eliminate them if they appear in salary analysis.
Equal opportunities
Vacancies for which applications are open shall be open equally to women, men and other genders. Necessary measures shall be taken to ensure that women, men and other genders enjoy the same opportunities for lifelong learning, vocational training and career advancement.
Work-life balance
Stefna aims to be a family-friendly workplace. Measures are taken to enable employees to reconcile their work duties and responsibilities towards their families, regardless of gender. These measures should, among other things, aim to increase flexibility in the organization of work and working hours so that both the family circumstances of employees and the needs of the business world are taken into account.
Bullying, violence or harassment will not be tolerated.
Bullying, sexual harassment, gender-based harassment and gender-based violence are not tolerated within the company. The company will take steps and take measures to prevent employees from being subjected to gender-based or sexual violence and harassment, including through education and by working to equalize the gender ratios among employees.
Stefna has implemented a response plan against bullying, sexual and gender-based harassment and violence.
